LAR&R is located in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreational Area
1700 N. Loma Ave. in South El Monte, CA 91733
approximately 12 miles east of Los Angeles.

Take Rosemead Blvd.off-ramp south from the San Bernardino freeway (10) or north from the Pomona freeway (60) to the Whittier Narrows Park entrance on the west side, located about a block north from the Pomona freeway on-ramp.

You can also take the 210 Freeway, Rosemead South offramp and use city streets south but there is roadwork on Rosemead south of the Huuntington Drive making for congestion.

After entering the park, turn right at the first stop sign, then follow the road as it circles the soccer fields to another stop sign at Loma. Turn left (south) and the range will be on the right, between the BMX bicycle race track and the model airplane field. 1700 N. Loma Ave, So. El Monte.

Indicate at the park entrance that you intend to visit the rifle range. You probably won't be charged. If necessary, show either your LAR&R membership card, NRA membership card or Group authorization papers and they won't charge you the $4 a day use fee.
